02:52 pm - THIS FRIDAY!!! SGP in ORLANDO at The Dungeon!!! I hope everyone will be able to make it out to The Dungeon this Friday for SICKPALOOZA 2008. My band Shattered Glass Playground will be playing of course as well as many other bands such as Lunatic Candy Kreep and Dirty Black Halo. 07:22 am - SGP UPDATE!! Things are picking up really well and extremely quick for SGP. With the additions of new guitarist Rich and new keyboardist Brian as well as the most recent addition to our chaotic family, Wednesday’s Child drummer and percussionist Danny, SGP is now full and complete. We’ve currently been working on new material and prepping for our April 5th show in Miami FL with Combichrist frontman Andy LaPlegua’s industrial project SCANDY as well as Todd Walker aka HYDE of JACKAL & HYDE. We can’t wait to see all of those who can make it. ^_^ Thanks to everyone so far for all the support!! I want to give my regards to all of the amazing companies, artists and musicians we had the chance to mingle with and meet at the huge annual event. 11:12 pm - Scratch that. I am not going to be performing with Frightdoll in Orlando on Sept 30th after all. I have too much to take care of with Shattered Glass Playground. We have almost 80 hours of studio time being booked and we have our first show on Oct 21st. Soooo... I wont be up in OTown for the A23 show BUT we are in the process of booking SGP in Orlando for November or December. Anyway, here's flyer for the Oct 21st show. 03:53 pm - So the postal system allows the mailing of lobsters?? *confused* So some updates eh... I just got over having the most miserable fucking flu EVER. I had a temperature of 104 and I felt like I was literally in the 7th layer of hell. Got some Antibiotics for it and now I feel back to normal. Yay. Laura was sick too, shes actually the one who got me sick. grr. I guess something was going around at her work and a lot of people got sick. This other person from what I heard had a temp of 105 and had to go to the hospital where they discovered that from the high fever she started developing boils on her brain. Eeegh. I wonder if I had those too because my temp was a degree less than hers, it would explain the headaches I was having. But I'm better now. In other events... Myself, Laura, Dro, Sara, Heather, Tony Metal, and others are going to the Manson/Slayer show on Wednesday here in good ole South Florida... so if any other peoples are going hit me up and we will spark up. Should be fun crazy drunken high times. yay. We've been getting awesome response as well with the new Hardcore Mayhem WebShows. 12:45 pm - SGP UPDATES and NEW SONGS!!!! Two New Songs "FINAL VISION" and "BLEEDING INNOCENCE" now up!!! I figure that it has been a while since any new material has been released so I have put these two songs up and also newly recorded versions of "Dreams and Nightmares", "Mirrorface" and the "Comfortably Numb" cover. Click on link below. I finally repaired my guitar and put guitars on everything so it fills in the songs perfectly and they now sound the way I wanted them to sound from the beginning. We are also in the studio finishing up some more new stuff that is sure to blow your mind. So enjoy these new songs that are up for now. 02:32 pm - UPDATES!!! The SGP website is still in the final stages of being finished but the general site is up and running. Check it out by clicking the link below. Also, if you want the new SGP banner you see above, it is up on the myspace for grabs, just copy and paste the code to your profile wherever you want, and thank you for your support. We are currently in the studio recording a new album's worth of material, as well as remastering and tweaking all of the songs already made from when it was just the D. Carrion solo project. Now that this consists of not only myself but my partner Casey (who happens to also be an amazing renowned producer for the industry), as well as the others that are involved, I want the songs redone with everyone's creative participation. We will also be booking a debut mini tour throughout Florida as soon as the songs we are currently recording are finished. So if you are in Florida and you want to see us live keep checking in on our myspace and the website for news and updates on when we will be playing near you. 10:55 am - Ever made a waiter at an expensive restaurant get wasted on the job while waiting your table? I've been trying to post an entry on this thing at least once a month. I think I've been doing a good job at remembering to keep up with it. So my solo project has expanded to band status. I have also changed the name to Shattered Glass Playground. 06:10 pm - NEW SONGS!!! First off to cover my bases, YES everyone, I did move to Miami. FUCK ORLANDO. It sucks there and I never want to go back other than to see my friends. Well I have recently added two new songs on my myspace music profile and i am really happy with the direction things are going. My sound is settling into what I always invisioned it to be and I am getting massive positive public response. I have even been getting response from bigger names in the industry (i.e. Metropolis, PIG, just to name a few) and I am going to be soon taking it live finally. I have the 12 songs needed for my album written, recorded and mixed and I am still working on plenty more. I am even dabbling in making some gabber-speedcore stuff. But anyway, the two new songs I have put up are "Self-Glorify" as well as my remake of the Dead Puppets song "Dreams and Nightmares". 07:45 pm - Well its been a long time... Damn I think there was a while there where I completely forgot LJ even existed. Well... there has been SOOOOO much that has happened since the last time I posted that Im not even going to begin to try. Basis of it is... Myself, Laura and Kassandra are all moving into a place in Winter Park within the next two weeks. FINALLY, we will all be close to everything and everyone again. Everyone can expect to see a lot more of us very soon. *sigh* But anyway, in other news. Some may or may not know that I havent been a part of the HORRIBLE band called Dead Puppets anymore. I kick myself for ever even participating in such a cotastrophy but hey... Im human, and humans make mistakes. I have although none the less pulled an Ohgr and started doing my own original music. A little bit of an Industrial meets Classical meets Aggro feel with a tiny little bit of a breakbeat twist. Being originally from a heavy rave scene I needed to incorporate some of that feel into it. I even did a cover of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb". Soooo... thus... if anyone is interested in hearing my new solo stuff click on the link below and check it out on my new MySpace music page. 08:29 am - Another Era Well it has probably been a little too long since the last time I made a journaL post, and in that time so much has happened that if I talked about it all it would be an entire novel in itself. So I will make it short and sweet. I finally have my own place. A duplex. Its pretty badass. As soon as I finish with decor and furniture I will have a fun little gathering and break the place in. Trying to aim for a party sometime before Christmas. As you may or may not know I am no longer in DP. I got tired of the lack of motivation from other members, miscommunication and I just never really liked the music at all. So, I decided to depart from them and move on to do my own thing. My new project, Broken Disciple is mainly aggro-electronic-based industrial reminiscent of industrial groups like Hocico, Skinny Puppy and Punto Omega but with a very new and unique sound and feel. I am very pleased with the new songs my yet-to-be-announced accomplice and I have created and from what is recorded so far it is sounding amazing.
